One of my family portraits from the studio i work for.
I have been lucky to photograph the maternity and newborn sessions for both of their two children, a pleasure to see these lovely people every few years to see their growing family.
I am submitting in to the WA State Australia Institute of Professional Photography awards this month.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactI noticed this on "undiscovered" and had to investigate. The simplicity and love in this photo is spellbinding, so I'm a fan right away.
Now, for the critique...
Vision is 4 stars- I will always enjoy and seek photos of love and family. That being said,
Originality receives 2 stars- family portraits are very common, and many of them as well-done as this.
Technique- 5 stars! The color palette, the red lips, and the position of the hands create a fluid motion and set the mood beautifully. Even their poses make a heart-shape. So clever!
Impact- The power of love can not be overstated. Such gentle expressions and beautiful lighting caught and kept my eye.
Sometimes, when the world seems like a sad place, photos like these remind us that we are loved by someone. Thank you for this piece.
